Bluecats

BlueCats manufactures one-way transmitter devices called Beacons that utilize Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. Beacons use constant transmissions to add data to real-world locations and objects. Loop is the single platform to manage hardware, collect data, create rules and execute events.

Other Notes

1

Without employing the Loop platform, how much assistance is given to customers who purchase the beacons from their website and are looking for best practices in deploying, communicating and capturing information?
2

Do we have to use the Bluecat interface or app to collect data? How is that data captured and can it be exported? If so, what format does the data come in?
3

'Based on recent changes by both Apple and Google, you can no longer advertise with beacons without having your own custom app. You can still use BlueCats beacons if you have an app and incorporate BlueCats’ SDK.' How does this limit our sponsors at events? Does this need to be a custom app or do they integrate with other vendors?
4

How controlled are the beacons? If they transmit a message to a user's phone, do they know if someone has already received that message so as not to overwhelm the user? What are the limitations?
