Facial Recognition

A facial recognition system is a technology capable of identifying or verifying a person from a digital image. There are multiple methods in which facial recognition systems work, but in general, they work by comparing selected facial features from a given image with faces within a database.

Pricing

Variable
  • Facial recognition systems are one of the more costly tools to adopt since it requires high-quality cameras and advance software to read facial images. Although, as with most advances in technology, it is anticipated these costs will decrease in the future as more industries and events adopt their capabilities.

Service Values

  • Facial recognition significantly increases security and safety. It can quickly assess whether someone is an invited guest or not welcome. Also, there is no badge, keycard or other physical item that could be lost or stolen.

  • Facial recognition can increase the speed at which someone is recognized and given access to an event. This would decrease wait times at registration check-in.

  • Facial recognition is also very accurate and difficult to fool, decreasing the risk of fraud.
