Announcing The Launch Of The New Unbridled Resume

By April 1, 2019No Comments

The IO Team is proud to announce the launch of the new and improved resume web application! We appreciate everyones patience as we battled through these last few (dare I say it?!) YEARS to get this new version to you.

Many of you reading this already know the pain points of working with the old resume. It was designed to help make the sharing of event data easier but, as our teams and needs grew, it quickly became outdated. The main challenges we heard time and time again were that the interface is confusing and unintuitive, and adding in the data created more work for the planners, not less. It was no longer setting out to do what it had been designed to do. So, about a year ago, a newly revamped IO Team went back to the drawing board to re-imagine a more intuitive, helpful, planning tool.

Our goal was to create an application that not only was easier to use and would help to quickly store and share event data but, we wanted to create a tool that would facilitate the planning process, not be a separate step from it. In order to do this, we had to:

  • Decrease redundant data entries
  • Create a user-friendly interface
  • Develop a workflow similar to XM’s current process
  • Build an application that is flexible to handle all types of events

We deliberated through multiple iterations, worked closely with members of the XM Team, and pulled off nothing short of WordPress coding magic.

We know that as more people from our teams start using this new resume, there will be adaptations and more to develop. We’re excited to continue to build upon and make this resume the ultimate planning tool and information hub for Unbridled events and hope you enjoy using it as much as we’ve enjoyed building it!
